Casa Alba Nueva is nestled in the stunning Spanish province of Granada and is the perfect destination for your rejuvenating yoga retreat.

Located amidst breathtaking landscapes. The area exudes authentic Spanish charm with its narrow cobblestone streets, whitewashed buildings and rich cultural heritage. Enveloped by olive groves and rolling hills, it provides a peaceful sanctuary for you to reconnect with nature and yourself.

Immerse yourself in twice daily yoga sessions in this idyllic setting and experience the warmth and hospitality of your yoga teacher Deirdre, your hosts Charlene and Ted and of course the locals.

The picturesque village of Castillejar is a short 10-15 minute walk from Casa Alba Nueva and has all the amenities you’ll need for a short stay.

With its serene ambiance and captivating surroundings, Castillejar promises to be an unforgettable destination for your upcoming yoga retreat.

Yoga & Activites

Enjoy Yoga twice daily, an energizing morning flow before breakfast followed by a gentle flow before dinner. Suitable for all levels.

Additonal private classes are available upon request.

Optional Day Trips:

Huescar - The town is quite pretty with a lovely town square complete with a traditional bandstand and historic buildings.

Castril Village - A pretty white village with magnificent views, a must visit is the Castril Gorge walk. If you don’t mind a bit of a climb the monument Peña de Castril is well worth a visit too.

Lake Negratin - Paddle boarding & canoeing. There is also an area for natural thermal bathing, which is free of charge.

Baza - An historian’s dream, having many archaeological remains one of which is the famous Dama de Baza. There are also a surprising number of interesting buildings of great historic importance, such as the Arabic baths.

Your host Charlene cooks all meals fresh on site!

Meals include: 5 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 5 evening meals.

All freshly prepared using organic ingredients as much as possible (Vegetarian/Vegan cuisine) Organic Wine available on request. Please inform of any allergies etc. when booking.

Accomodation

Casa Alba Nueva is traditionally furnished and decorated to create a welcoming home.

It boasts beautiful views of the mountain, village and views of the unique Badlands (of which there are only 3 in the world!). There is also a garden area close to the main house, an Olive plantation and large in-ground swimming pool for you to enjoy!

There is a shared living room and three bedrooms. All bedrooms are based on 2 people sharing (privacy divides available upon request). They have Organic 100% cotton bedding and towels, plus complimentary environmentally friendly products (Shampoo and shower gel are supplied for your stay).
